The goal of this project was to create a conceptual brand based on a randomly chosen brand archetype and a random selection of four brand values. My key archetype was “everyman”, and my values were inclusive, dependable, refined, and technical. I had the responsibility of creating a brand concept, name, visual identity, and guidelines.
I began to envision a custom clothing company, MYO [my-oh] (Make Your Own). This company would take a hands-on approach to custom clothing creation, with a brick-and-mortar storefront where customers can come and work with in-store designers to help make their stylistic vision a reality.

MYO had to stand out as a unique, approachable, and innovative brand that invites people to imagine and create. The vibrant orange color exudes the creative and exciting spirit of MYO. The wordmark is bubbly, distinct, and symbolic of the company’s core values and target audience. This visual identity is extremely versatile and applicable in print, digital, apparel, and interactive media.
