Dissonant is a startup revolving around a love for physical media and sharing music. In their app, users can order an album that is curated by another user from the Dissonant library of CDs. The CD is then sent to the user to be kept or returned.

I joined their team as a freelance UI/UX designer in the summer of 2025 and have since been designing, prototyping, and building their front-end web and app interfaces. I most recently developed the Dissonant HQ website which displays information about Dissonant and hosts an ecommerce interface connected to Shopify for their music releases.

Due to the mission and ethos behind the Dissonant project, the team wanted the visual aesthetics to pay homage to early 2000s web design.
